Sequim has been in the news, local, state and national for getting shots done. Ya, not the easiest in some ways but at least, getting people shot, car by car. Long lines, long waits but I works. I got mine, after missing getting in line at the right times, by hours. (Go to get in line at 0930 - shots started at 0900 - and I was somewhere a few hundred cars past the last one in line that was going to get vaccinated. So. . . I did like many others, I got in line at 10PM Friday night, and yes, you had to stay in/with your car. About 0800 they started passing out paper work, and the line started moving from the staging area to the vaccination zone, a half mile drive into the park, and the waiting was nearly over. I got mine!!! at 0905, and my appointment for the second shot is on Feb 13, and maybe not have to wait all night in the car. . . .
One of the traffic control volunteers I talked with said we had 60, 70, 80 and 90 year old's that were spending all night in their cars -- first time since they were teen agers at the drive-in movies   8)
The good news is that we can make appointments for the second shot. Don't know how that will work, that website opens tomorrow. Will see how it goes. Really looking forward to getting that #2 Shot, and hoping that there are a huge majority of folks across the country that do the same.
