    Pit Bull ATTACK

This just happened in Hawthorne a 74 year old man was attacked by a pit bull and it chewed one arm completely off and nearly chewed off the second arm. http://www.news4jax.com/news/28199614/detail.html Hed was probably a gentle dog and would never hurt anyone. I'm sorry but I treat all pit...

    Carolina Bound!

Nick sounds like a great plan. I'm partial to the Topsail area having been raised there. You probably know but just before you get to the Surf City Bridge to your port is the Beach House Marina. Great place to spend a couple days only three blocks to a beautiful beach and plenty of resturants...

    Forward hatch

Rob I haven't had any issues and I weigh about 180 lbs. I don't think Moose's design connects to the roof rails. I guess half my weight is on the brow or about 45 lbs at each connection point. I think if I built another one I would make it support from the bowrail only but so far no problem.

Actually football isn't a "sport" it's merely a game! Fishing is a "sport."

    Forward hatch

In my photo album in the modifications folder is a picture of a hammock I made that attaches to the roof rails and bow rail. It's really handy, comfortable and stows easily .

Fiberglass radar arch for a CD 22'?

I haven't seen any of this in a long time but they do make fiberglass electrical conduit. It's often times used on cooling towers and smoke stacks. What I installed many years ago was 1 1/4" trade size. It might be handy for some applications around a boat.

    Fla Keys in January

I hope to be at and around Bahia Honda for about a week around the 13th of January. Keeping a close eye on the weather it's been pretty chilly here in NE Florida.

    OIL EATING MICROBES???

And as that oil slowly makes it to the shallows what a pretty wake you will leave as you pass over it. I'm sorry no way to down play this it will be with us for the rest of my life! Using the despersants was merely a way to hide the extent of the damage and make the spilled oil uncoverable.

    THE APP Thread

I took it back to Verizon tech and they couldn't download it. Sorry for hijacking the thread somewhat but anyone buying a Droid should be aware of this. I guess you were okay if you downloaded before the 2.2 upgrade.

    THE APP Thread

I just upgraded to a Droid and it automatically upgraded to 2.2 operating system. I got it specifically to use Navionics and after attempting to download it I'm told it won't run on the new 2.2 system. Anyone else having this problem? I've tried to contact Navionics for info without any luck.

What are some of your favorite stops Jekyl Island to Norfolk

Without a doubt Boathouse Marina in Surf City NC. It's a few miles North of Wrightsville Beach which is also nice. The Marina itself offers floating docks, power and water. What I like about it is it's only a two block walk to the Ocean and a fishing pier. There's a grocery store about two...

    Calling All Electricians

John it is true tha paralleling Large conductors is common but there is a limit to the size of the conductors that can be paralled. It's been many years since I've looked at NEC but I think you'll find that it applies to conductors 4/0 and larger. When you do parallel them they must be exactly...

    Calling All Electricians

Paralleling #10 wire in the application you describe is not legal. Also on a sub panel you must have and insulated ground wire. I think as others have said running pvc pipe and pulling single conductor THWN insulated wire would be a better option. Conductors in PVC rather than direct burial...
