Gas Tank leak on my 25

The tank was built by Coastline Equipment in Bellingham. You can Google them. And the tank is not the issue at all. They have been making custom tanks since 1975. I had a nice conversation with Kevin at Coastline. The problem is in how the tank was installed. Yes it was Fred on Anita...

Gas Tank leak on my 25

Don't know who David Pascoe is. If there is a problem is it buried beneath the floor panel and it is a two hour job to remove the steps, caulking floor screws to get the floor panel up. Then you have to put it back together.

Gas Tank leak on my 25

I probably should try and take a picture of the stops that C-dory put in (2005). The hole looks to be caused by continual contact with the stop. I would guess that all 25s made in Kent and possible Auburn were built this way. Unless the factory started using smaller in width tanks, the...

Here is an update. Spoke with the company in Bellingham that made the tank. Talked to several other people who have had to replace their tank. Took the boat today to Cap Sante marine in Anacortes and one of the techs found the leak right away as he knew what to look for. The tank is held in...

Is there a way to change the hour meter reading?

They can be reset to "0" by shorting across two of the terminals in the back. BUT I don't remember which two. Les would know.

More on Navigation "apps" versus navigation electr

Clear this up in a couple of sentences. The Ipad with GPS will track the satelites. You only need the wifi to connect to the internet to download the program and charts. Once you have done that you are good to go. No need for a cell tower. I have been using Navionics for about a year and love...

    Water Pressure Pump

I removed the pump without taking out the heater and took it apart. Found nothing in the way of "junk" put it back together and it still puts out half of what it used to. Replacement should be here in a day or two.

The big advantage to having bluetooth is being able to have a second wireless display in larger vessels. You can use all kinds of wireless connections.

    Water Pressure Pump

2005 25. The Shure Flo water pump has been progressivly getting weaker. Not had any problems with it since the factory put it in. Some of you have replaced with a Jabsco 31395-0092. Is this pretty much a swap out, ie hoses the same size, don't have to replace hoses, etc? I ordered one from...

    Secrets of Raymarine

Gizmo, I have always had the cursor position on the data bar instead of boat position. I can move the cursor to where-ever and measure the NM and M direction to the cursor and if I want to know where the boat is just press the soft key for cursor/ship position. The boat position is also always...
