Outboard for the inflatable

Suzuki currently have a deal running, $350 off any outboard engine. I am buying the Suzuki 2.5hp, short shaft. Down from $999 (Can) to $649. Heck of a deal. Hope this info helps anyone thinking of getting an outboard at this time.

I just down loaded the program rules right off their website. I guess the Canadian dealers either are having problems reading or have a different program. The 2.5hp doesn't have any cash back... :sad
To bad cause I'm looking for a tender motor as well a replacement for my kicker.

The dealer told me that Suzuki were doing the discount thru out North America, I ordered my Suzi 2.5hp yesterday afternoon, it was delivered to my house 8am this morning, $649. I'm real pleased. Spent today playing with it.

No complaint here on the Suzuki 2.5. It is a true water cooled marine outboard and very miserly on fuel. Last I checked, it was also the lightest.

I just checked with two Suzuki dealers in Oregon who each reported that the discount/rebate is for 40 hp Suzukis and larger. I want the Suzuki 2.5 hp for $649, too. One of the dealers I called quoted $799 for the 2.5 hp. that is without a Suzuki discount. The other dealer had a 2008 "barely used" for $495 - the finish on the case looked a little dull but it did look pretty new under the cover. Any ideas?

If we could find out what website Martin ordered it from, maybe they can deliver stateside? It might be worth the extra bones to have a full warranty. Suzuki has six years right now.

Sorry about the delay. I just got back from 3 days out on the boat.

I ordered the Suzuki 2.5hp from Wills Marine Supply in Comox BC. (glenn@willsmarinesupply.com). I know Glenn picked it up at Boatland in Campbell River, BC. I used the outboard this weekend and it was perfect. Light weight, lots of power for a little guy, miserly on fuel, and started first time every time. I couldn't fault it.
