I thought about doing that too, but, like you, my phone would need power. Also, I'm leery of putting my phone out there.

I have a Windshield and a waterproof case that I use on the boat. Looks like a good idea to "dual purpose: that one.

I just got it set up with a 12VDC out put plug on the bike so I can run a 12V device --> GPS, or Phone charger. Maybe even a CPAP but not while I am driving :shock: :P

Just found an online prop repair location in Minnesota. $48 for a 4 bladed 13.25" aluminum prop. They charge $10 for return shipping ($15 for multiple props) and you pay to ship to them. (If you live in the area, and can drop off and pick up, you save the shipping charges.)

Sounds like a good deal but that big orange warning label is kind of "off putting" for me.

The orange warning is a Woot thing, I doubt it has anything to do with the generator itself.

I believe that there are two "WEN" companies. One has been around for a long time making soldering irons, and similar appliances: WEN had been a subject of patent dispute in the 50's with Carl Weller, who "patented" the transformer type of soldering iron, in his business of radio repairs Wen was a pioneer in electric tools, made some of the first random orbital sanders. They made drills, portable saws, grinders etc. I have several redish color WEN soldering irons, and an WEN engraver.

WEN tools, is a Chinese company, of mediocre quality. There are a number of tools, which all look the same, most likely coming out of the same basic assembly line--but with different colors and some different details.

The fact that I have a small Honda Generator, which is approaching--if not,--50 years old, and still runs, sways me toward Honda engine driven products for generators...

I just bought myself for Christmas a new cooler from Sam's Club for $200.00 It's a Igloo Sportsman 55 Qt. The Yeti one is over $350.00 and looks very much the same construction ? We will see how it performs this week .I always wanted a yeti but the price was prohibitive for me The next step is to get an Engel freezer /fridge ?

Evinrude XD100 outboard oil is $37/gal on Amazon and $58/gal in PNW marine stores. Amazon you need to buy a case of 3 gals, but thats ok.
