It would seem to be the start of runaway inflation. It should not take long for other industries to follow suit. In our area (suburban Phila.) the only new commercial construction seems to be for new banks; if you can believe it. I don't know who benefits from the zero prime but it isn't us. The banks are recording huge profits and I'm lucky to get 1.25% on my savings. It will be interesting what will happen in the Goldman Sach's case. I know my 401k which was smoking along then took a hit as soon as they started blabbering about the precedings against G/S. They mention Paulson and Company is that the same Paulson who worked for the Gumint? :shock:
