Hello,

We just booked our room for Saturday evening and while talking with Linda she said the hotel just informed her that all the non-smoking rooms were taken. We, my wife and I were wondering if there was someone out there who had booked aroom earlier that smokes and would be interested in trading us. We are only there saturday evening as we have other plans for friday evening on Vashon Island. So we will not be able to make the friday get together but will be at the show friday and saturday to meet up with folks.

I wish there was a way I could have connected for a blackmouth trip I have read about but it doesn't look like I could pull it off. Is there anyone going to have their boat at Lake Union that we could visit with there? We do not have a C-Dory yet and are looking at 22's and maybe 25's for our future boat.

So if you are interested in trading let us know by PM or post it here.

Thanks,

Keith & Katie

Hi Brats;

Margaret & I will be there Friday afternoon. However, we have friends that will be joining in on the festivities, Tim & Sherrie Klassen. They are on vacation in Las Vegas and will fly into Seattle on Thursday. If someone would look them up on Thursday at the hotel it would be appreciated. They are a great couple with a 23 ft Farralon. Sherrie saw the layout of our Tom Cat and expressed an interest in a more comfortable cruise/fishing boat.
Thanks
Gene Morris

A 16' or a 22'. C-Dory of course! I figured that would go without saying. :wink

I want to buy a pickup camper and do some cross country touristing. A smaller boat would tow nicer behind a pickup/camper.

It pretty much needs to be some time on Saturday. That worked out last year - after going to the SBS but before the party at the factory. Those of you who came out last year while the Taproom was under construction will be amazed I think.

So what day and time is the tour of the Brewery?

Hey Larry on Helen' O: Careful man... we just might have to meet half way cross country and switch boats. That 18Angler I am referbishing is just about between the 16 & 22.... and I may be upsizing soon. You are not going to find a nicer camper top than the one I just had built. Check with SENSEI... he cruised her when over here in TN for Thanksgiving... Now.. back to the real thread of this... just wondering a bit... caffffeeeennne is goood.

Printing out all flight stuff...and getting ready to go wheels up for this years trip on Monday...

YYYYYEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHAAAAAA

I've heard that a lot of folks use their C-Dory for dry-land accommodations while on the road. Might be a reason to keep the 25?

Warren

Warren and Larry --

We have used our CD-22 as an RV on the road on many of our trips between launch points -- don't need a 25, or even a 22 -- if you can sleep on your boat, you have an RV with her on the road.

FROM SENSEI AND BYRDMAN ON THE JOHNSON FARM IN STANWOOD:

NEWS UPDATE:

FLASH--FLASH--FLASH--

We have a very nice size group signed up to go on the Argosy 1pm Friday, 26 1pm lock and dam cruise, representing 12 boats and between 20-30 folks... so this will be a blast!!! Still time and space to sign up...and the folks at Argosy indicated that we will be just about 100% C-Dory folks on this cruise.

Other changes are that Roger Johnson (SENSEI) has been called to report to Fort Potato, and haul several more truck loads of tatters....so, his arrival in Seattle will be delayed to Friday, but in time for him to make the cruise too.

Those of you that have sent him WILL-CALL WINDOW boat show ticket request, relax, he has worked those tickets and I will deliver them prior to the boat show opening on Thursday mornings with your names on them as communicated with Roger.

Those of you who were to get tickets from Roger at the Hawthorne, no problem there either. Myself Jeff Brigner from Bama, and Terry from NY Attica prison systems will have the tickets, from Roger at the hotel for you.

At sign in at the hotel, ASK FOR Roger Johnson's room number, I will be there, or a note on the door as to where I am (on the property) to get your tickets.

I plan to be at the boat show all day Thursday, and return to the hotel around 6pm "ish" for those of you signing in at the hotel during Thursday, and needing tickets for the boat show. Several of us will be at the hotel so finding us should again be easy...we might just take over the coffee shop area...or... leave a note at the front desk as to where we have grouped up.

Friday after the cruise, we will return to the hotel for the hotel events Friday night.

:thup SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE FACTORY: 630-7PM ARRIVAL TIMES PLEASE

WE HAVE UDERSTANDABLY BEEN ASKED NOT TO ARRIVE AT THE FACTORY PRIOR TO 630PM. LETS ALLOW THEM TO TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS AND PREPARE.

WE AS OWNERS DO NEED TO REMEMBER THAT THE FACTORY HAS TO TAKE CARE OF THE BOAT SHOW DUTIES, AND, PREPAREING FOR A CROWD OF 150 TO 200 FOLKS TO COME SEE THEIR HOUSE AND HAVE DINNER.

I KNOW HOW THINGS GO AT MY HOUSE WHEN FOLKS GET THERE EARLY... :crook

SO... I WILL SEE YALL THERE FASHIONABLEY LATE...AT AROUND 645PM.

So what is the protocol for those of us who are not staying at the motel but want to attend the motel shindig? Can we just show up? How about info on time and place at the motel party. And of course, we will not come empty-handed, I understand it is a potluck.

Sure.... it is a bring your own event and some of the locals bring their favorite cover dish or boat dishes... it is way informal, kicked back and just fun. finger foods at most...festivities to begin around 7:00 PM
