01/26 - 01/28 - Seattle Boat Show

c-dancer,

The party is in the big room in the main building of the Hawthorne Hotel. Just enter at the front doors and turn left, its just down the hall.

mike (Whalergofar) and I (Duck) will be coming in to seattle about 12:30 thur, then going to the Hawthorne then on to the show see you guys there Jim Widmann and Mike Taylor from Naples fl.

Met Paul and Verla for lunch today in Boise, ID. They (soon-to-be CD owners) came up on the I-15 and we came across Wyoming on I-84 and joined up for lunch. We both hope to be in Seatle tomorrow -- fogs in Ellentown will determine our route.

Looking forward to the boat cruise, the parties, and simply seeing all you good folks.

I may be able to get to Seattle this weekend to go to the boat show. Would not arrive until either late Friday night or mid day Saturday. I wuld like to attend the factory dinner. Is it to late for this? Is there a signup?

The details are likely somewhere in this thread, but did not want to look through 12 pages for it. Lazy I guess.

AKDAVE – all you have to do is show up after 6:30 PM. Don’t get there early because they will still be setting up and early arrivals will just get in the way.

I MAY be able to sneak away early on Friday to go on the Argosy cruise, if I can I will, but Patty won't be able to make it. We will get to the Hawthorne Friday afternoon / evening for sure. I am really looking forward to seeing old friends again and putting faces to names for new friends (like they say, strangers are just friends you haven't met yet!), this should be the best ever! We will have a keg for the factory party, and probably several cases for the Friday night wing-ding.

Marcia and head for the airport tomorrow morning at 5:00, hopefully before the big snowstorm hits!

We get into Seattle at 1:00 and are really looking forward to a great weekend.

Hey Roger, Sorry to hear that you've got potato duty. We're leaving Bellingham tomorrow early am (van's packed and ready to go) so we'll just see you when you get there on Friday. Many thanks to Byrdman for handling the tickets.

It's a good one for sure! I hope to end up with a 16 x 20 of it framed in our living room at Birch Bay...

I don't know if I got signed up for the free boatshow tickets. Can you still get them?

We will be landing about 12:30 Thurs. Will get lunch then head to the motel. How late does the boatshow go?

I guess I'm confused (but that's nothing new according to SWMBO), I thought we could just show up at the hotel and get two tickets when we get there tomorrow afternoon. Now it appears we needed to have some set aside. Should I go ahead and just buy some through Boat US's discount, or was I right all along and some will be available at the hotel??

colobear,

If you sent Sensei (Roger) a PM requesting tickets, then the tickets will be at will call or Byrdman will have them at the hotel. If not, buying them online gets you free parking.

Any early boat show reviews? You folks don't party to hard. We'll be poking around the show tomorrow and hitting the factory wing-ding, just a day tripper for us
