I just take the sight tube out of the little holders and lay it on the cockpit floor. All the water just runs out.

In the climate where I boat I need something more airtight so I have found that the salt and pepper shakers sold by REI work well. One container has space for two different spices (top and bottom), and being airtight the spices never clump like those off the store shelf.

I remember reading somewhere about some tests the navy did on some fiberglass from some older hulls and found that over the years the glass actually gained in strength. Might have been an old paper clipping hanging on the wall of Cascade Yachts in Portland.

Just got back from a week at Lake Billy Chinook. Fishing was phenomenal. Easy limits of kokanee, and several bull trout. One was too big for the net. Boat worked great. Trolled all day every day plus running up the arms each day and only burned about 10 gallons.
