I bought a "little dipper" crockpot for SeaDNA. It's good for warming soup/stew and it only draws 35W so I can run it off of the cheap cigarette lighter inverter. Also got another small crockpot (125W) that I can use for cooking. Both can run off of my cheap inverter. It wasn't until I opened the package on the little dipper that I discovered it's not designed for cooking raw meats so the bigger one will be required for anything but re-heating soups and stews.
Santa's a little late on one gift but rumor has it that Ms. Claus has a new Shimano Tekota 500 LC (a line counter bait casting reel) on order for me. I think that leaving the empty box of the one I bought last year on her pillow helped. I love that reel and ordered another one so my guests will have a nice reel when using my gear. The line counter model is particularly good for bottom fishing or for knowing exactly how far out you are trolling (with divers or banana weights).
