Tool for removing window screws?

Here's my stupid question for today....does anyone know what tool (or what size) is required for the screws around our windows? I need to loosen a few of these screws for wire holders, curtains, etc.

Thanks!

If I recall correctly, they are called Roberts-head screws and the size is S2. You should be able to get a bit at a hardware store.

Those are square screw bits. #1 or 2 . I can't recall the size.
West Marine has a screw driver package with several different bits, including these for $19.
You could probably get them at any hardware store since they are used for the long deck screws on patio decks so they don't strip the screw as easily when driving them in.

The West Marine 12-in-One Stainless-Steel Screwdriver set is shown on page 320 in the new 2008 catalog and is model 9379314. The price in the store is $19.99.

My CD-25's name is CHARITY cause that is where all my money goes. :)

Use a standard #1 or #2 square drive bit commonly available at any hardware store. We sell them at Home Depot for a couple of dollars or you can get a square drive screwdriver for 6-10 dollars. Not stainless steel but not $20 either.

I have a screw driver, which has two phiilips, two square and two slotted heads, plus 1/4, 5/16 and 3/8 drives--about $10 at Lowes.

Hey all,

Great Canadian invention No.1. Those are called "Robertson". No stripping, no slipping. Sure footing everytime, all the time.

Equal to this....is our beer of course...
