Just got my new WA. State stickers for Pocket Yacht and THEY'RE ORANGE!! :smileo Can you imagine how that's going to look on a Blue & White boat? :crook Almost enough to make you want to leave her in the driveway until blue, or red come around again. :wink...Leave me alone Joe :cry

I agree orange really looks bad on a Red/White boat! However, if you want Halloween colors.....Orange with Black isn't bad.... :roll: ...I just couldn't resist, Mark.... :mrgreen: .

Which reminds me of the George Gobel line when he was on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson many years ago; he said, "Did you ever feel the whole world was a tuxedo and you were a pair of brown shoes?" :mrgreen:

The state will eventually get around to a brown sticker, Mark.

Is that all you’ve got to whine about?
We planned on loading up on shrimp and rock-fishing this weekend but the road to Whittier here is closed do to a rock slide, won’t be open tell sometime next week; it’s been a long a** winter and the weather is going to be perfect. :amgry

I’d paste orange sticker all over my boat if it got me to the fishing grounds. :wink
 
Let's hope they were printed in China. Then we could hope they would be re-called for lead content and replaced with a different color! I don't think of myself as vain, but these really are ugly for just about any color of boat.
 
Has anyone had theirs long enough to find out if they glow in the dark? :shock: ...

I started this to see if I could get a rise out of "Sea Wolf", but I guess Joe is having a nap. :wink
 
arrrg, got ours the other day and they sure do reek of orangeness. That color looks so 70's, what can we look forward to next year, avacado?
 
Think positive, place a big ol' knarly Fighting Illini decal alongside the State Sticker (or, a team of your choice):

Boise State Broncos
Charlotte Bobcats
Chicago Bears
Denver Broncos
Detroit Tigers
Florida Gators

other than Boise State, I've never heard of any of those organizations, are they sports teams or something? :)

I suppose some wax nostalgicaly about the 70's......

Orange! Great. what if you just keep them in the envelope and bring them out if someone asks. Maybe we should suggest to the state that they could save money if they just used a very small sticker with a new number on it and let us save about 95% of the raw material and printing cost.
