we're getting close.
last week I had to fly to boise for work and I left what I thought was a very cold 18f Seattle for a -3f boise. was quite pleased with yesterdays 32f and snow, will be even more pleased with next months Maui weather

Dec. 21 is "THE BIG SWISH DAY" for me. That is when all of the salmon stop going where they are going and turn around making a big swish and head back here. We hope there will be some big King Salmon doing that this year. It has been pretty slim pickings for the last few seasons.
As far as wanting to work again......... if I get up in the morning feeling that way I just lay down again for 10 min. or so and it goes away. Works every time.

oh boy, in terms of fishing my 2014 mantra will be "go north young man". instead of wasting 10hr+ days in south sound I'm just going to drive an extra hour north where they actually have salmon....haha.
So, if it is not climate change, how do you folks explain:
1. Carbon dioxide increasing in atmosphere
2. Hottest decade on record
3. Disaperance of the large glaciers like the Athabasca glacier
4. Artic sea ice disapearing
5. greenland ice melting at increasing rate
6. Antarctic ice melting
7. Earth warming
8. Sea level rising
9.Ocean rising
10. more extreme weather
