The Next boat

tom forgot to mention that the 58 krogen had a CRAFT room with a pull out shelf for a sewing machine. yahoo!!! now that is a loterry boat

Hmmm - For all you dreamers who are hankering to follow the all-American theme of bigger is better ... How about a great big boat with a lounge, a bar, and many staterooms? I think I can get you a great price on a used one ... the Titanic.

C Dorius makes an excellent point about the table on the 25--We also wondered about that. The entire seat can be widened, as the Tom Cat. On the same vein, the aft seat in both boats is way too deep--you could make the table bigger, and the seat smaller fore and aft. As it is we had to put cushions behind the back to make the seat comfortable in both the Tom Cat 255 and the 25.

You could probably carry a 22 on the for deck of the Nordhavn 62--and there are cranes big enough to handle that.

Boat w/ a slight "patina"....

Hey, what do you know, I have a student from Dumasistan, I'll ask him if he knows Mr Bumuumimuum.

I'm thinking Pete's on the right track, hang on to the 22' & when those lotto numbers pay off add a non-trailler boat to the fleet...after taking care of LBAV (land based adventure vehicle).

go up to the 34 it has a walk around bed. We could not have a bed against the wall. susan is to much of a klutz and would end up killing me in my sleep.

25 knots sounds good.

ok on edit: when you are reading a press release or commercial web site that is written by the british which britsh actors voice do you hear?? or is that just me?

I would love to know how a C-Dory 16 would tow. Do you think someone would let me try at a C-Brats gathering?

sorry if I insulted anyone with a 16.
Lyle

I would simply attach a 50' line to the stern cleats of the Lizzie and then attach the other end to the bow eye on your 25 footer. Hope this helps.

i've made a list of the boats i have purchase over the years. i've tried to figure out what each boat meant to me, why i purchased it and why i sold
it. i've additionally tried to determine what lessons i've learned as a result of the number of boats owned and sold. i have decided i haven't learned a damn thing. my best boat doesn't exist, it is a fantasy never to be realized, a dream that will never come true, a wish that will never be received.
in spite of this revelation i will tried to follow my leader, the most honorable capt. major byrdman, who wisely stated, it's not the size of the vessel, nor is it the comforts of a vessel, it is the capacity of the cooler that can hold the most cold beverage, that wins his heart!
that's all.
