I have a 2009 22 C-Dory recently when I turn ON the stove it just flashes and after a few minutes no heat and turns off by itself I don't know what is wrong? Actually I thought because it's getting out of oil, I filled up oil but still the same problem, any idea?

The stove is it a wallas single or twin burner?We had a a similar problem make sure your batteries are up to charge and also you might need to put in a vent below stove we had to cut a few 2in vent holes on our cape cruiser 23 also we put in kleen heat.take a look at some of the c-brats boats you will see that most have vents under neath their wallas.
 
Jim makes a very good point: the Wallas seems to be sensitive to voltage on start-up. The only time we had a problem with ours starting turned out to be a bad battery. And a quick call to Scan Marine (in WA) helped me solve that problem. Some folks have had to start their motors to get the alternator running for the Wallas to fire up if they've been at anchor for a while.

If you don't have the vent under the stove on the front of your cabinet, open one of the cabinet doors during the start up procedure.

If both the red and the yellow lights are flashing rapidly then it means it was not shutdown or started completely before the power was turned off to the wallas and it is in lockout mode. You need to reset the lockout. Turn the stove on wait for the flashing lights, next leave the switch in the on position and remove power from the wallas. I use the main power switch in the lazarette, but you can unplug the power at the main board as well. Next turn the switch off and then reapply power. It should start normally. This usually happens when you don't wait for the Wallis to go through its cool down cycle and you turn the switch off early or the wallis is in cool down and you turn off the main battery switch. I put a pdf copy of the manual in the document section of this site. It explains what all off the flashing lights mean. I'm guessing yours is the one I get once in a while when I get in a hurry. Hope this helps.

I underscored part of Jody's post above. If your stove is wired through the switch, and not directly to the battery (with appropriate circuit protection), it is a sure way to have stove problems. Most dealers ensure that the Wallas is wired directly to the battery.

If the stove is wired directly to the battery (as many) and in lock down, then the fuse has to be pulled for a minute to "reset". Label that fuse. There will probably be a main circuit fuse and bilge pump fuse.

Also check to see if there is air in the fuel line--and if the fuel is getting to the stove. When I got my Tom Cat, some nut (or lack of nut) at the factory didn't connect the fuel line to the stove, and left the nut on the fuel line so that it leaked air. You can get a small bubble in the fuel line by momentarily pulling the filter out of the fuel jug, then tracing this bubble as it goes up the clear line. Check the fuel line nut where it goes into the stove at the foreward outboard part under the stove.

Incidently if the stove fails to light 3 times, it goes into the lock down. This may be due to a variety of reasons--from fuel to voltage etc.
 
* Unlocking the stove:

1. Switch stove ON (lock blinking).
2. Disconnect the main power supply (blinking stops).
3. Reconnect the main power supply (the yellow LED lights up
for 1-3 seconds).
4. When the yellow LED has gone out, switch the power OFF.
5. Switch stove control ON to initiate start cycle again.

The other item from the manual I find worth noting is that the Model 85DU (two-burner) draws 8 (count 'em) 8 AMPS for 4.5 minutes during startup phase. That's a significant load on a battery which has sustained miscellaneous other loads since the last recharge.

I'm thinking I'll copy the Fault Codes table (the .pdf link mentioned earlier in this list), have it laminated and post it on the cabin wall above the stove for quick reference.
