You didn't delineate between medical, recreational or habitual/destructive use. You lumped every single pot smoker, regardless of reason or other beneficial qualities that human might have, regardless of any contribution they ever made to society, into a group of people you have no use for

This is the most interesting part of the situation, I think. We'll have to wait and see if the federal government respects states rights (WA and CO) or not.
To relate this to boating...
Since the Coast Guard is a federal agency, I suspect anyone with marijuana onboard their boat risks arrest and property seizure, regardless of WA State law.
