"Sea Shift" Super Sized

The Latest is that I am going up to C-Dory tomorrow with my handy dandy Sony Camera and look for some newborn C-Dory's. Also may would be nice to have some "muscles" there to back me up on convincing them to help us out on the CBC at the SBS. I can rough up 2 or 3 of them ,but may need some help with Chantal,Jill, and Rayna.

Mike inquires "what's the latest"....

I've been busy working out a "fair price" for my sweet 16' in readiness to put it on the market. I had one lead before I even committed to purchasing the 22' but it is not the "right time" for that person. I have one other lead and if that doesn't transpire then I'll work on the serious advertising of the original "Sea Shift".
I'm also repeatedly reviewing my list of "jewelry" to go on the new "Sea Shift" and anticipate some minor add-on's. (You guys keep on giving me ideas of ways to spend my money!).
Carol has been discussing curtains (looks like "lighthouse curtains" will be top on the consideration list). Jessica is figuring out which friends to ask to cruise with her.....Dad says NO BOYS! Carol's brother (a retired airline pilot and charter boat captain) is figuring out his dates to leave the Florida Keys and come visit for a San Juan cruise.
So other than that........ "not much happening". :smilep

Thanks Don and Deb, I'm looking forward to their more frequent presence on the cruises and dock as well.

Mike, I'm guessing Dusty is probably out shopping for one of those specially trained dogs.....you know kinda like a sheep dog herds sheep, but instead he needs one to herd his pack of C-Dorys.....before he purchases any more.

That's fine, Dave, but don't be bothering Carl out back in the shop. They say you're supposed to work those diesels once in a while, it needs something to tow.

Don't worry Mike, I won't be bothering Carl....Bill and I agreed to do all we could to expedite all work that needs to be done at EQ so nothing will slow them down when our vessels get there! :wink

Not to worry about Dusty, okay?

Flotilla is now reduced to a single bote. C-Cat has a new home and leaves EQ this month.
TyBoo22 is for sale on the EQ website. Little Buddy is cool - my fleet of one. Les couldn't get around to installing hydraulic steering, Wallas, auto pilot, canvas, GPS, radar, and all the other goodies on TyBoo22 until summer - maybe.
So present plan (never changes, Les, honest!!) is a 90 Honda on Little Buddy and install a rocking chair. Little Buddy already has full canvas, a Wallas, hydraulic steering, GPS/ plotter/depth sounder, and the Angler cockpit is better for the fish I might catch if Jon and Cynthia will stay off the water... and a HUGE plus -- TyBoo Mike sez I can keep the dog!!

Uhhh....nobody here had anything to do with Les Jr.'s backed up schedule, did we?

I just returned from checking out the action at EQ. Mike, your Tyboo continues to "shine" in the extraordinary care that Les provides!

As for Super Sized "Sea Shift" ....I just spent more $$$$.

I've just posted a loaded 16' C-Dory Cruiser for sale on the "Boats for Sale" thread. (Wife says 13 acres ain't enough room for domiciling two C-Dorys :cry )

Dave,

The last word I got late this afternoon was 12/10 for the keel laying. With the second shift up and running they're going through the process much more quickly and you've got to get down to the plant pretty quickly or the darn things done! I'm sure they'll have SSS done by the end of the month. Now I'm hoping I can get the trailer on time! I used to count on that 4-week lead time. No matter, we'll still be able to bring the boat up even if we have to swap trailers once it's here. After all, I've only got about 6-months worth of installation chores. :wink

Fantastic Les,
I told Carol this morning that I'd soon be wearing out the pavement on I-5 between Arlington and Kent. They sure got "Da New Da Nag" done quickly!

Well, you know how those "trend setting" Californians are. They are always trying to get the women in their lives to go topless. :wink
