"Sea Shift" Super Sized

Hey, Butch, sounds pretty exciting. Keep us informed.
Hey, Da Nerd, wait'll I get my hands on you. You will so regret those many mean things you said to me.

Oh, I see...until I looked at the PHOTOS, I wondered what the hell Mike was talking about, Dave being proud of the way his "Johnson" was hung!

Um, Dave, uh, do you have something to tell us? Judging from the latest pictures, you're mighty proud of your Johnson. Must be, to hang two of the things on the back of your new boat.

Dave,
I just looked at the picture you posted of your boat with the Johnsons on it. I want to see them up close, and hear them run.
Lyle

Lyle,
I'm anxious to hear them run too. I'm guessing they're gonna sound like this.......... :note :note...... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm :xlol

it just seems to me like he's not one of us anymore.

Please Brock, don't forsake me........it's just the rebel coming out in me. They've got to be good motors.....they're named after Roger.

That's it. We'll talk about this at Cathlamet in April. Bring Patty, the kid and the dog.

And by the way, everybody know that Johnson is a brand of outboard. Kinda like an Evinrude, but a different color.

Patty and the kid will be on a trip to Spain and France, some kind of ed-joo-kay-shunnal thingee...so Cathlamet will be Pat, David and Oscar, as it is stacking up right now.

And by the way, where I grew up, how your johnson was hung had a DISTINCTLY different meaning!

Since it is now 0045 HRs in the morning, I now have to say that YESTERDAY, we took possession of Sea Shift. She "cruised" through her sea trials with flying colors. Les and I ran her through her paces and tried out all of her jewelry, including anchor deployment and retrieval. (That "flipping a toggle switch" to raise and lower an anchor is the "cats meow"....(sorry Brock). Sea Shift is now at home grazing in the pasture where the cows used to be. :smilep

:D :D :D Great news Dave, Did you sleep on board last nite? Sorry I couldn't talk with you on the radio yesterday--guess we were just out of range. See you this weekend. There will be lots of christening ceremonies. :cocktail :cocktail

Congrats Dave on taking possession of Sea Shift. Looking forward to seeing you all at Lopez. When are you leaving Cap Sante? I am heading out Friday late morning I think.

Yes, Dave - congrats! And can I presume we see the repowered Haileigh's Comet as well?

I wish, unfortunately it is not ready. Les has been up to his eyeballs and repowering takes a lot of figuring and refiguring. But hopefully by the next get together it will be ready.

Far out, Dave! This special occasion calls for a new front page photo.

Hey - try to stay on the correct boat this weekend...mine's the red one.

Not just new boats this week-end but new Red boats. Can't wait to see all the new vessels. Dave, you must be about as excited as a fireman can be. Almost like having a siren to use with all that new gear. I'm sure Les did himself proud on yours too and I'll bet you're pretty proud of her. Congratulations, you should be.

Tim

Durn nice boat there Dave. Wish I could make it to Lopez to see the Red Fleet in person....I'll bet Les is relieved to get the red tide out of the shop :)

Damnabit I have hell with spelling

Darn, bet you left the siren off. :P

Charlie

Hi Charlie.....yes I left the siren and the water cannon off.....but you'll notice that I've got flames "licking" at the SEA SHIFT name. "Black" lettering over "Red" flames as in "Smoke over Fire".
Thanks to all of you for your kind comments!
