just tuned in and read the awesome news. congrats to dr. bob, his spouse and his surgeon!
now then, dr. bob, just so you don't get to comfortable resting in bed, looking at movie star type nurses, eating gourmet hospital food, and sipping on the finest of imported wines, i have several questions that only you can answer, they are as follows:
1. if it is zero degrees outside today and it is supposed to be twice as cold tomorrow, how cold will it be?
2. why do you press harder on a remote control when you know the battery is dead?
3. how much deeper would the ocean be if sponges didn't grow in it?
4. is it because light travels faster than sound that some people appear bright until you hear them speak?
5. how is it possible to have a civil war?
6. if you try to fail and succeed, which have you done?
7. why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?
8. what colour hair do bald men put down on their driver's licence?
9. what would happen if night fell and the earth wasn't there to catch it?
10. why do kamakasi bombers wear helmets?
11. why is the lethal injection needle sterilized?
12. why do you drive in a parkway but park in a driveway?
13. if snickers satisfy, why do they make king size?
14. if the number 2 pencil is so popular, why is it still no. 2?
and finally
15. how do you draw a blank?
while you're pondering these very difficult and most important question, please restrict your answers to 25 words or less.
best regards and hope to see you on the water soon!

Good to hear! You will be cruisin' in no time. 8)

Bob,

In my one and only stay in the hospital, all I could think about was punching the dietician. If it wasn't for a night shift nurse sneaking me a sandwich each night, my recovery would not have gone nearly as well. The doctor thought that was a good sign and let me out after only 3 days.

Glad to hear the surgery went well, and hope that your dietician didn't get their job after being laid off from the CIA's terrorist interrogation program.

Just talked to Marie for an update. Bob continues to to well. He was taken off the ventilator at 3AM. and was sitting up and talking this morning. He remembered everything that the Dr had told him. He is expected to stay in IC for 2-3 days and then in regular room for 4 more days before heading back to Pensacola. Dr. is very optimistic about the recovery.

Roger

Just getting off the ventilator will do wonders for a guy...same thing every time they remove a tube. Keep it up, Dr. Bob! God is good!

outstanding news :D
Thanks for the up to date postings
Get well quickly Bob and Dave!
