look what followed me home.

Did I just see Haileigh's Comet go by???

Nice boat, man. I've lusted after that boat for a while.

Have lots of fun...

Tom

Interestingly I was just thinking about Haileigh's this morning and wondering if anyone had purchased her.

Congratulations! She was always well taken care of!

Well, isn't that exciting!!! Congrats, Tom and Susan! :thup That seems to be a very unique C-Dory, and one that will be "the right tool for the job."

Best wishes,
Jim & Joan

Congrats.

So what does the extra 5' get you?

LOTS! Here's the link from EQ...

http://www.eqmarine.com/1984_C-Dory_27.html

That is what C-Dory should have made (again) instead of that 29... lots of usable space, armstrong-type bracket on the stern, cruising amenities, and lots of cockpit space (including a very adaptable camperback that can be made larger or smaller, as the need arises. A helm in the cockpit.

It is GREAT that this boat is going to someone who will USE it. :thup :thup

Best wishes,
Jim B.

Congratulations Tom & Susan. I remember looking this boat over when they were putting the the outboard bracket on it. It's a great boat and with the huge cockpit it looks like the all time best C-Dory for fishing.

Congratulations to you both. This is a fantastic boat--and the cure for "2 foot itis". Should give you a lifetime of fun! There are so many great features of this boat--and I agree that if C dory had made a "modern" 27 or 29, this would be what it should be like!

OMG

Wait till Susan finds out. Boy are you going to be in trouble.
Congrats on the new (to you ) boat. Haileigh's Comet is a great boat with many nice upgrades.
I look forward to checking it out at Bellingham.
Best wishes

Congratulations! I've been watching that boat for a long time and am glad she found a good home. Now I suppose you're going to go and get her all slimy with fish guts!!

Tom and Susan,

So pleased to read that this purchase finally came through. We're excited for you :D Just had a thought :idea Would a commercial fishing license be a good thing to have now that you have this nice 27 footer? Ya know, with this license you could catch more fish than the usual daily limit...which also means you'd get to spend more time fishing :thup

Best always,
Ruth and Joe
