It's official - Napoleon has a new owner

Napoleon's new owner hauled her away today. We just spoke a few minutes ago as he was approaching the east side of the Cape Cod Canal.

To see her leave the yard for the last time was of course bitter sweet. For those who read my listing I was selling due to prioritizing more time to run commercial ships. I had a great experience cruising 4500 nautical miles and would buy a Tomcat again.

I'm sure the new owner will continue in the fine C-Brat tradition and will hopefully join the club. As with many former owners I still enjoy the discussions on C-brat's and will continue to visit.

I have said this before, but this 'club' should be a listed feature on the factory or dealer invoices.

Congrats on the sale, Captain Matt. Kinda hurts to see a good boat leave without you. On the flip side, I understand the pleasure of a trip to the fuel dock when someone else is buying.

Good luck with your future plans,
Jim

I know what you're feeling Matt. Fortunately, Dreamer came back to the PNW and is nearby if I want to polish a few spots for old times sake! Always a C-Brat

Matt, I probably should say congratulations--but only if you hang around this site, and keep giving us some wisdom. Did you pass on that 10 year warrantee to the new owner?

Take care!

Thanks guys! I definitely plan to continue to visit here.

The 10 year warranty that came with the boat in 2008 of course dissolved with each successive sale of the company assets. Fortunately any warranty issues I had after the various company changes I was able to get directly from the part manufacturers, such as a complete steering upgrade from Teleflex.

The new owner had her surveyed and all was solid except for a few minor items I could fix.

When I was researching my next boat a few years ago I came across some of Matt's posts on Scubaboard. Reading about Napoleon sold me on a Tomcat. I hope the new owner gets as much enjoyment out of it as I have from No Pressure.
