I just bought my first boat. It's a 2001 22ft cruiser with twin Suzuki 50's. It has 160 hours on it. I look forward to a good time on the boat, and to making new friends on C-brats. :D

I don't know how to put pictures on this thread yet.[/img]

I plan on SCUBA diving, fishing, camping, and just having fun with it. I really like the fact that it is very economical to operate.

hello shane1000,
great boat and love the twin 50's, plenty of power and dependability. what kind of electronics do you have aboard? when out on the water be sure to slow down so other boaters can take your picture, and believe me, they will. most people tell me how cute the boat is, i then respond with it's a rather manly boat! at any rate i'm sure you will have many awesome hours aboard. congrats and good luck.

Congratulations! And welcome to the C-Brats. Patti and I hope you have many great days cruising the coast.

Where do you live in LB? I grew up in Belmont Shore a very long time ago (my grandkids say I saw the dinosaurs!) .

Welcome! :beer :cigar :note One of the best parts of owning a C-Dory is the people in this group. Hope to see you at one of the CBGTs.

Congrats on the new boat! For photos, you will need to send a request to Tyboo or Da Nag to have them create an album for you. You will then be able to upload photos to share. If you do a search, there are several threads of the intricacies of adding photos, which browsers work best and things of that nature.

Welcome aboard!

Welocme to the clan - you're in for some great times with your new famiy member. Stay in touch through the Brat site and you're welcome at any of the gatherings to personally meet some fine folks.

Welcome Aboard--I spent most of my life in Long Beach--born there and left in 1992. I had boats mostly at the Alamitos Bay marina. I used to parctice at the old Harriman Jones Medical Clinic at Cherry and Broadway.

We still have friends there and drop in a couple of times a year. I first saw a C Dory 22 in Alamitos Bay in about 1978 or 79.

Have fun--great boat for the Island; just go over early in the morning!

Welcome!!! You will love your boat and do make the gatherings and such even if you can not bring your boat with you. Great times and great folks. Enjoy and safe travels.

Shane,
Welcome to the Family.
At the top of the page- check out the "Event Signups" page. We have a couple of events coming up - one at Catalina in August and one on the Sac Delta in May.

There are a few divers here in our local area.

The shipper delivered the boat today. I have to work the next two days, but I can take it out this weekend. I'm excited. I hope i can make it to the meet at Catalina in August, but I will have to wait and see. I'm getting married on Aug 28............
Anyway, happy to be here.
