I hate foot ball and the sea hawks.

"...someone whose creaky knees protest any run longer than three miles, whose achy left shoulder just got its first cortisone shot..."

From Marty's article. The guy just described me to a tee....

Just returned from my daily walk to McDonalds. The sky is blue, the clouds are puffy. It's great to see the parade of vehicles flying 12th man and Seahawks flags. Even better, the whole families at McD's, all wearing
some kind of Seahawks paraphernalia, mostly Jerseys with 3's, 24's or 12's. A beautiful festive atmosphere.

The dog agrees with Tom.

Congrats to all the Seattle C-Brats!

So much for Payton Manning being the greatest QB in the history of the game. This game may prove to be among the greatest miss matches in Super Bowl history!

Hello Tom Brady….

Does this make Tom the 13th man?

Congrats to the Seattle SeaHawks and their fans. I had Seattle, so it was an especially good game for me. We were with our daughter and son-in-law, so it made for a special evening (game or not). Joan made a wonderful variety of "game snacks"... and I heard on the news that today is the second largest day for food consumption, behind Thanksgiving. Whether Tom likes it or not, it is a national experience... any reason for some good snacking (I always say).

And, some unsolicited advice... From a business point of view, we ran a successful business for over 30 years; national scale clients while based in a small town. Something I learned early on: sometimes you just have to know when to keep your mouth shut. You can do a great job, and some people still won't do business with you... maybe because of a public political affiliation, a charity you support, but often because of their perception of you. Bad-mouthing a beloved local organization (sports team, school, public figure, etc) will turn some people off. People who may be potential clients. Things you say publicly, even when not in a business situation, can affect your business. A wise business person knows it is not smart to intentionally piss off people who may consider doing business with you in the future. Consider the number of people who were ticked off over Tom's comments. Yep, those of us who know him will say, "Oh, that's Tom." Others (who don't post) may think what some others here wrote. And, in a business like real estate sales, how much does one (or two or 100) people who take their business elsewhere cost a broker/sales person in lost potential income?

Sometimes, that "just be nice" rule pays off in ways beyond an internet forum.

43-8....TOTAL, 100% domination. Peyton looked old. The Broncos looked pedestrian.

I wished I bet for a safety on the first play! I'd buy a new car....

Ok so I the hawks won and did a great job. Glad they won. Not sure how they could have loss against the Broncos. I watched the second half of the game and it was pretty sad. I prefer a close game. Sea Hawks played very well but the Broncos just collapsed from the get go.

For the record I never wanted the Sea Hawks to lose, that was all the fans ASSUMING I wanted them to lose just because I would have preferred to be at the boat show. Which really ended up sucking for me. I was at the show for only one day and did not get to A) spend time at the floating show b) get to see the one seminar I wanted to see. The Greatest part of the Show was seeing everyone at both get together's and having more then one person tell me on the side that they could care less about sea hawks or football in general. So I am not alone in my preference for boat over foot ball.

I'am glad to see that the Fans did not burn down the city last night. I have always wandered at fans that riot when they win. Make no sense to me and very glad to see that it did not happen in this city. So back to boating.

Really? :?

Well this week we have the game on. A long time and great friend of mine Rob is staying with us. Rob helped me a few times when I first got out of the corps. Rob and his wife have been friends of mine since high school. I think I even introduced them to one another at a party and they still like me.

Well Rob lost his job in placerville Ca last month and needed a hand and a change. I found him a job at Buds transmission in Marysville, owned by another friend of mine Steve. Steve needed and good wrench and Rob needed a good job and boss. I put the bug in both their ears months ago. Well Rob got here friday night and is a die hard 49er fan. So we have the game on for the first time in years. Go Niners.

Come on, Tom. :P :P

Um... I don't think much assumption was necessary when you said:

And, I'm actually shocked you watched any part of the game at all after a comment like this...

... why do the rest of us have to suffer your stupidity to this useless sport.

Hypocrisy, thy name is starcrafttom.

Seriously, what happened to just being nice?

15 yards for piling on...

I'm not piling on. I'm making up for over two weeks of "It's Peyton's legacy"....."he' the greatest QB ever"....."The Seahawks have never played against anyone so talented and smart"..."his dad, his brother now him...."....blah...blah....blah. Fact is, most "pundits" & media predicted the Seahawks would lose. The team proved them all wrong...AGAIN. According to Ron Jaworski, the 40Whiners "should have beaten the Hawks" in the playoff game here. But they didn't.
