Hi All

Marooned

New member
I have been watching you folks for some time now, ever since I first spotted a C-dory cruiser in a boating magazine while in a dentist waiting room.

Went to the internet and ran a search and found some information, and soon found the C-dog site, "yes a while ago".

My wife and I have enjoyed the adventures, arguments and especially the vast wealth of information that is part of your heritage. I thank you all for sharing it with those of us who were too timid to join.

So now I find myself at the point in my life that I have finally gone through all of the turmoil of which boat and will I be satisfied? Will the manufacturer stand up or not, and made a deal on a 22 cruiser, which I should have known all along.

Once again, thanks for the wealth of information, and thanks for allowing the public to share in all of your personal thoughts, opinions and adventures.

Congratulations on the new boat and welcome to the site. This truly is a wonderful site to gather information.

Welcome aboard, Tim. Many of us here know the angst and anguish that goes into picking "the right boat." Here's wishing you boat-loads of good times onboard that serve to remind you that you made the right choice. Enjoy!

Oh, and now that you're "in", share the adventure!

Best wishes,
Jim B.

Tim,
Welcome and congrats. Just pasted through a small bit of Tenn. Where are you at? Come on down to the St. Johns for a shake down.

Congratulations on your purchase. As you probably already know this site is a wealth of information regardless of your boating experience. Let us know about your adventures.

I live up a creek called "Prairie Branch" runs into Cyprus Bay on Kentucky lake. Cyprus Bay separates Kentucky from Tennessee.

Till April the creek has only a foot of water and we are marooned, that is till the spring rains and the tva decide to let us loose.

Most likely will winter over near Tampa Bay and get used to the new boat there. Then back to Kentucky Lake in the spring.

Anybody sees Marooned out and about looking green, give us a shout!
