El and Bill,
When I read your "travels", I get right in to it. While reading IVORY ISLAND story, all I could think of was
"My father was the keeper of the Eddystone Light,
Slept with a mermaid one fine night,
From that union there came three,
A porpoise, a pogy, and the other was me,
Yo ho ho, the wind blows free,
Oh for the life on the rolling sea."
You stories are an inspiration for all of us. When to "break"and go.
I am getting closer. More on that later.
Are you joining us at the Erie Canal in September?
Keep your great stories coming. You both are great teachers.
Fred
