Amazon.com offers a list of its Top 100 Free eBooks for Kindle in its Kindle Store. All free titles are on the right hand side. Choose from a selection of current and classic titles covering a wide range of genres. (Pictured is The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.) Note that a Kindle reader or Kindle-enabled device is required to download and read these eBooks.

I dont have a Kindle Reader but have the Kindle reader app on the iTouch. I have the free Olive Tree Bibles (ISV, KJV, other versions) and one by Paul Avery (very well thought and useable app - m2cw) but they are stand alone apps and dont need a Kindle.

I have several hundred free books (but not all of those listed) There are literally hundreds available for Kindle and similar applications. I have both a Kindle, and I Pad, as well as the i phone and touch... The smaller screens are a bit difficult for comfortable reading for me. I use the Kindle app for the i pad, and the Kindle for most reading. Actually prefer the Kindle for the "print", but it depens if night or day etc.
