Cool marina website.

Interesting--the aerial photos in our area (from Orange Beach, Pensacola and Apalachicola) appear to be about a year old, based on hurricane damage, and amount of new construction which has occcured in the last year.

It would be great if all harbors were included--but some of them are in the Naviionics Platinum and some of the DVD based charting programs.

Roger-

Cool!

But honestly, I can't tell a C-Dory from a Sea Ray at that magnification/scale!

We'll have to let Oldgrowth/Spy Eye in the Sky/Dave zero in on Fishtales from outer space.

(He's probably find Jim and the Blond standing on the deck!)

Joe.

That is a very cool site. I have it saved to my favorites... combined with the wireless broadband card, it will be a great resource to have onboard. Thanks for posting it.

Best wishes,
Jim B.

Not the best of pictures. By the time I zoomed in on it, it was blurry and with the cockpit cover hard to ID. I can see it because I know it's there.

hiding in witht the sail boats?? This is a really cool site. I have been looking at all sorts of marinas. It also does ferry terminals, harbours, bridges, light houses, land marks. etc... great source of info.

This is good. The Seattle area marina shots appear to be from summer 2006. I located my Checkpoint II and also the FireFly (my friends sailboat) both at different marinas. :xlol

Yep, thats Fishtales, backed up to the boat with the green tarp. If the picture covered another 200 - 300 feet to the east, you would see 6 or 7 more C-Dorys :D

This Marina site is great. I pulled up the South Shore Yacht Club, and I am thinking of ordering a couple of pictures of the Club for my Son-in-laws for Christmas Gifts. Glossy is 12" by 18" is about $34.00, Matte more. If you want it framed, it is much much more.

To think of the project of getting all those pictures all over America and the world is mind boggling.

Thank you for the thread.

Fred
