C-Brat Tip Jar/Donations

I just saw this on the left side of the home page and confirmed with Tyboo that it is legitimate. I personally think it is a great idea and a good way to help Bill (DaNag) and Mike (Tyboo) cover the costs of providing us all with this great site. We all benefit so much from this place, chipping in a little seems the least I can do. Mike was worried that it might look "tacky" and I assured him that, to me, it certainly is not tacky!

I am putting a little bit in the tip jar tonight. I urge other brats to remember the many times this site has benefited you and to consider tipping the staff. :love :love

Done.
I've offered to help out several times over the years.
I don't think it is tacky one bit. We all benefit from this site.
I would not be opposed to an annual membership dues arrangement with the prerequisite of being a C-Dory/Ranger owner :D

On the list of things that have benefited me, in my lifetime, I put C-Brats right up there with pennicillin. Here's my donation, with pleasure. :thup

I'm in! I haven't got a boat yet, but I spend so many hours reading this site - I figure by donating 5 bucks, It's about 2 cents an hour! Thanks guys for all the hard work!

No tackiness at all!

Not tacky or awkward at all. In fact, just the opposite. It seemed awkward to me not having any way to contribute a little something. I mean somebody has been paying for all this, right? And it has to cost that somebody something more than just time. Compared to what most of us spend money on, this site is the greatest bargain of all time. The tip jar is a great idea.

Well, for those of us who let our PayPay accounts lapse, how about giving us an address so we can send a check? We know how much time and effort Bill and Mike have put into making this place feel like home... we're happy to show our appreciation.

It's likely I still won't respect you in the morning, but I will put a check in the mail. :wink

Best wishes,
Jim B.

I am happy to also kick in. It is a small token of my appreciation for all of your hard work and costs for running this great site. Thank you.

Best regards,
Rollie/C-Batical

I just kicked in using my MasterCard. Very quick and painless. This site has saved me more time and money than you can imagine. Keep up the great work.

I got a note from Bill letting me know that there is an option for using a CC instead of PayPal. Guess I didn't stay on there long enough after I saw PayPal. With an address in hand, however, I can honestly say, "The check is in the mail."

For those of us who wander, this place is truly a "home". I enjoy checking in daily to see what folks are doing and how they are using their boats. We get great ideas to use on our boat, share information (and occasionally frustrations), and have the opportunity to meet so many other people... who have similar great taste in their boat choices. :wink

I wish the check could be bigger, but as you may have heard, I can't seem to hold a job. 8)

Thanks again, Bill and Mike... your forethought and consideration in creating and maintaining this site have created a very comfortable (and civil) place in this corner of the internet.

Best wishes,
Jim & Joan (and Molly the cat)
the crew of Wild Blue

I owe this site much, much more than I just donated! The tips and info from buying, outfitting, and cruising have been invaluable to me and have allowed me to cruise with confidence in areas otherwise foreign to me.

Thank you guys oh so much for putting up with all the flak, BS, and general "brattiness" of us all!

John

What a deal. Now I don't have to feel like a thief for having so much pleasure from someone elses hard labor. Thanks so much for all you guys have done for all of us and the entire boating community. Thank you. Steve
