Thanks for the calls. Just real close family know I just had a small stroke. For the most part I am in great shape….well, for after a stroke….I did not loose any weight during this. Grin.
I too am amazed that I even talk a bit slower now. Words and thoughts are there, but will not come out. Then, some quick thoughts (and 4 letter words) seem to have an express lane and just fly out. Wish I could switch those. I guess the dry season will be over in mid TN soon, as crying just happens like breathing, but I am very happy.
My emails and C-Brat responses will be shorter (many now cheering..) due to the right hand kinda doing its own aerobics class at will and letting go of things just to see what noise they make when hitting the ground. Some interesting sounds, but not as good as the wonderful jazz Tom & crew provided last week in the NE.
Great Dr says what is on her mind without beating around the tree…or bush…so we got along great. Just added a couple of other pills with no recreational value ….other than life which is a great recreation in itself. The pills I have been taking more than likely kept things small thank God…..I aint done all the boating and gatherings I want to do yet.
Can’t drive a few days, and then not more than 20 minutes, for 3-4 weeks…so I will be picking up a driver for the next couple of weeks. (Great to have large family and many great friends in times like this). I sure hope Dr did not think this was going to slow me down; I will just have someone to tell slow stories to….and she feels as I do two weeks will fix a lot due to the smallness of the stroke.
Looking forward to a couple days of rest and again blessed with the US Open about to start at 10am and will be fun.
Thanks for the calls, I am reading emails and the C-Brat site, just can not respond to many of them until the aerobics class in my hand is over….and I recalled them only lasting about an hour… Humm…must be a master fitness trainer hung in there.
WOW, getting better…this only took about 40 minutes and two towels. Grin.
Love ya all and thanks for the great times. Go get on your boat and screw the little things…they do not matter. Have fun with family and friends.
