What Joe said! Congratulations!!!!! It's easier to quote him than put all those thingys in there! We just passed 42 here, it gets easier with time! But harder to stay awake!! :lol:
 
What a fantastic journey! Coming from two parents that have stayed married and still in love I know what kind of blessing you two have. Again congrats and may the sun always set on calm waters with a glass of wine for the both of you! :cocktail

We celebrated two years at Thanksgiving (I got married late in life!) and 30 years actually doesn't seem that far away for us! <smile>

Thank you all so very much. We did find that long distance cruising (and I think this includes C Dories as well as larger boats) brings couples closer together. We felt as though pioneers must have felt. We were dependant on each other for our lives and safety. We shared duties and watches equally.

I wrote Marie a letter for our aniversary and I will share a couple of lines:

"You made this boat our home for four years as we voyaged over 41,000 miles to many different lands and interacted with many people. Your winning charm and ability to put up with adversity was the key in our success.
When we returned we had formed a bond way behond that of normal married couples. We were truely the best of friends and inseparable."

We have been bless with love and adventures.

Thank you all for being part of our continuing adventure in life. We do hope to be back in the PNW this May thru July.

Marie and Bob , Many congratulations from Anita , myself and the Wefings Crew . You set a great example for many , and we appreciate all that you do here on the site . We will see you in Pensacola in April and have a toast !
