23 Venture Story Link!

Hey, Steve and Joanie, I'm excited for you. Your boat's a little ahead of schedule, no? I'm sure Daybreak agrees with me, you're going to love it. I'll tell you, after 578 hours on my 23', it's still a brand new thrill every time I fire her up for another adventure. (Then again, all our C-Dorys give us that feeling!)
For what it's worth, Catnip was a very close second to Songbird for boat name.

Morning Steve and Joanie,

That is very cool that you get to follow your build. Nice to know that she will be ready to launch this spring. Looking forward to seeing her completed.

Jim

Brock,

Steve and Joanie will certainly enjoy their new C-Dory. The build is ahead of schedule but I'm sure they don't mind. I have seen Steve post about joining him and Joanie October, 14th 2023 for the Annular Solar Eclipse on Lake Powell. That would be a great time to assemble together as an event for C-Brats. We are excited also for them both with the coming soon of their Venture 23.

Steve, looking forward to seeing your new upholstery selection. The suspense is killing me.

Thank you guys for the comments, and some things to think about in selecting a name for the new boat.

Right now the working name is: Covfefe

YES! Like Tom Magliozzi of Click & Clack use to say; "Something dissimilar but not totally unlike!"

Mark, looking really good, and it is very instructive for all with the annotations!

Are you coring the cabinets inside with a hex cell material? Also is the forward chain locker bulkhead plywood?

I Know the C Brats appreciate your taking the time to take and post the photos. It shows the care with which the boats are built.

Steve,

You and Joanie are going to be so excited to get your boat when it is finished. Mark is doing a great job in showing the process of a C-Dory build. Much thanks and credit to NMI!

Thanks for the link Patrick and Kim,

This goes to shows the quality and care that NMI puts into their boats. They make vessels for long term use and it shows with the components they use in their construction.

Thanks Patrick and Kim!!
Basically this system is installed to protect fuel spillage.
They are a must on all our bust in the interest of our environment!
