Marvelous videos! What a very special treat! We have never had that type of show--and never even seen a whale in Baranof Warm Springs Bay--despite many trips there. I can see why it was hard to leave.

Did you walk up the trail to the tubs along the river? (I have no idea what state of repair those would be now... As I remember one was too hot, and you had to put some river water in it, with a pail.

Bob, you get it. We too have never seen anything like it in all our trips up here & the reason we were so excited while watching. JoLee got to see & I missed the best showing. The whale came right up to the float plane dock at very low tide & let the current from the falls bring her the food. JoLee was looking directly into her mouth from less then 20 feet away.

The tubs are are now pretty new & in good shape with regulating water to just right easy. They are located very close to the dock. The natural spring with the amazing view just by the falls is to hot for us. In September this year a new dock is being put in.
