Just set the dates for the 2014 Friday Harbor gathering; May 16-17-18. Downrigger's, our Friday night dinner location will not be reconstructed by then. You may recall that it was destroyed in a catastrophic fire. But...Debbie, the owner is still in business and can cater a dinner at another location. We will be in touch with her. We'll keep everybody posted.

My C Dory survived her first trip to salt water last year at Friday Harbor without sinking or hitting any other objects. We will be back

Is spring here yet??? Oh well, at least we have the upcoming SBS Gathering to look forward to in the mean time.

We are SO there...and if the weather is nice, we will just keep on cruising in 2014! Our dance card is filling up nicely! May for Friday Harbor, June for Pender Harbour! Oh boy oh boy oh boy!

Cathy and I would like to join this gathering. Would be the first one. We'd be more comfortable going right with/ beside someone to get there to Friday Harbor. Any ideas? Do you all cruise together from point to point. Thank you again,

Hi Hayden and Cathy,

Welcome aboard. The Friday Harbor gathering is not a cruise, more like a 2-3 day "dock party". Some folks do go out for the day (fishing or sight-seeing), then come back to the marina. There are some folks that do come to Friday Harbor together from Anacortes, Bellingham, Sequim, etc - I'm sure you could coordinate someone to buddy boat with.

It is also a great jumping off point to do other cruising in the San Juans and Gulf Islands.

I have to check the calendar. I have a training week in San Antonio, Texas and my g-son's birthday, both in that month.
 
Christina and I will try to make it too, sounds like a great way to get an early start on summer overnighters :) :beer

Two Lucky Fish (+1) will be there. The "+1" in electrical tape is still on the boat. I couldn't bring myself to clean it off! And I NEVER DID figure out who put it there. :)
 
Tim I will tell who did it for a bagel egg and ham breakfast :wink: Just bring it over to the boat and lower it in thru the front hatch.
