I'm not familiar with built in tanks on the 22. My 25 had leaks from both the fill hose and vent. Very unlikely tank is leaking is my guess. Can you see or feel tank where hoses enter?

We don't worry about the water level as much as we used to. I installed a PUR35 watermaker in the port aft closet. Works well using the nearby thru hull for supply. Dennis

Of course the lighter the kayaks the less the stress. We are presently in Tucson where we bought a house last week. Being close to San Carlos to launch Jammin is important to us, We plan to cross the sea and go to La Paz about May 1.
