Roger, Bill, sorry I missed you guys. Willie and I were on bridge taking pictures. May have been a little beer left, but the wine chillers were empty. Again Roger, we really enjoyed dinner with you in Anacortes.

    What is this Fish?

OK I am convinced. I have been looking at videos and pictures of Harbor Seals. What's a rainy day for anyway? " The harbor seal has webbed hind flippers that also have five digits. The first and fifth digits are longer than the middle digits and its hind flippers look like fans when they lay...

    What is this Fish?

I added two zoomed pictures to the link. I watched him swimming around for a while. He definitely had two tails. Sorry I did not get a better picture, but my other lens was in the car and I thought I could blow these up better.

    What is this Fish?

While on the Bridge over Deception Pass, I took 4 photos of a fish. I noticed that it appeared to have twin or two tails. I have not been able find it online. Maybe someone on this group will know. A link to 4 full size photos is here http://picasaweb.google.com/herb.stark/Fish?feat=directlink

    THE APP Thread

My Droid upgraded to Froyo 2.2 a day or so ago and I find out now that my Swype quit working. Swype is actually a beta and you have to register at Swype.com to receive it. So since I had already registered from before...I forgot, luckily I had my password written down and I downloaded the...

    iPhone questions

Charlie, go to your apps and search for "Swype" it will let you have a keyboard option that you put your finger on the first letter of a word and slide or swipe it over the next letter, never removing your finger from the keyboard. It was a little difficult for me as I am a fairly proficient...

Dinner courtesy of Anna Leigh and David

Willie and I just finished a great dinner of Dungeness Crab. Yesterday David of Anna Leigh picked us up at Cap Sante and gave us a grand tour of the San Juans. We put a couple of pots down on the East side of Guemes and went as far as Jones Island where he showed us his grandchildren's...

Charlie, do you use the keyboard on your Droid X? I never open mine on my Droid, it is a waste of weight and volume. The virtual keyboard works great.
