    Winter Battery Care

Last two Winters I have left the batteries in my 22 cruiser with the battery tender plugged in. All is well in the spring. Am I risking a problem by not pulling the batteries and storing inside? It gets cold here some nights below 0. michael

    Barkley Sound fishing 2008

We went sept 5th last year for 7 days and had a hard time finding fish in the sound. Wx was a little rough outside but we found so many silvers it was unreal. On the two days that weren't to rough we caught over 50 fish per day. 25 miles off shore and 7 mile bank worked well. What a place/...

    Fishing in Sekiu

We caught Butts at 200 plus. Those fishing charts have spots marked that are pretty good. Go straight out from Sekiu to 300 feet and put some salmon bellies on the bottom. We also troll for them just off the bottom with the same gear we use for salmon. good luck michael

    Electrical issues

I am trolling with one of the 40's. Two batteries one is the main the other is wired as a backup and for one of the 40's, I'm usually using a radio, gps, sonar and vhf radio. and electrical downriggers. Could trolling speed not be enough to keep full charge on the battery? The voltage drops...

    Electrical issues

I have a 2000 22 with twin 40's, I have two batteries with a single perco on off switch that inputs the back up battery when turned to the on position. The issue is after about 2 hours of trolling or so the main battery voltage plummets to 8 volts or so and of course things shut down. Sooo I...

    Salt away

Does anyone know if this product will remove long term salt deposits? Will fresh water use do it as well? I bought my boat from a salt water site and have flushed it in fresh water many times but notice the cooling stream is not as strong on one motor. Wonder if a salt build up would do...

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

Doryman, the white worms are 6' or so plastic with the curly flat tail all the fishing shops have them in the area. Rig them with a weighted jig head hook. The deeper you fish the heavier the jig head should be. michael

SO WHAT DID YOU DO WITH OR ON YOUR C-DORY TODAY??

Steve and Kathy, Lings we found in the shallower water along the rocky coasts 40-60'. Find a area where the tide will take you along the edge at a nice trolling speed and jig a weighted white worm. Shrimp were around Spieden Island south side and between Spieden and Stuart(watch your trap...

    Minus Tides

I just came back from Anacortes last Sat. Of course arrived at the ramp at low tide, the ramp was exposed above waterline and it was very difficult to get out. Had to winch the boat on the trailer. It worked but would plan it a little better next time. michael

    Best idea under $20

A friend made me a "Bouy Muffler" for tying off to the bouys in the San Juans. It is just a 12x12 2' thick piece of closed cell foam with a 2' hole in the middle It kept the rings on the bouys from knocking on the hull at night. Just slip the mooring line through and hook up, no scratches on...

    REDUCED-2006 23' CAPE CRUISER WITH 115 YAMAHA- only $36,500

Sam I am dreaming but wondering if I could get a small group to go in so we would have a boat in Fla and not have to drag one 3000 miles and back with the gas prices the way they are. We'd need a trailer and a place to store it. I;ll check with my friends see if they are game. michael
