What a steal, the second or third boat I've seen here that I'd buy in 30 seconds, if it was a year or 2 from now. Damn, this is a steal!!

I'm now working on rationalizing buying a boat to just have sit on the side of my house for a couple of years.

Deals like this don't come along often. If I didn't already have my boat, I would be on my way to Houston or Melborne to bring home a boat! I lurked for the better part of a year before we got ours... and never saw a deal that would match these. I bought our boat before we actually retired - the Blonde said, "Get what you want now, 'cause when you aren't working, it will be harder to part with the cash."

So, consider what your money will be worth in two years (yes, that's a guessing game at best). Will you have weekends to play with a boat in the meantime? Would you get some satisfaction out of having the boat NOW and being able to tweak it while you're counting the days? What will it cost for a boat like these in a couple years? Could my money earn that much (the difference) in that amount of time?

I could certainly justify it if I were in the market. Just thinking out loud here.
 
James, I agree with many of your points. And am contemplating as the $$ are sitting waiting (first time in my lifetime!!) at 4.5%. But, I really won't be able to use it, have no vehicle (yet).

No doubt this boat is a steal, and I would grab it, with better timing. I hope a fellow C-Brat grabs it.

There seem to be a "deal of the year" about every 6 months, great for us. I'll be jumping, just can't justify renting a tow vehicle, storage fees, ins, etc. This boat sounds turnkey, so wouldn't be doing much. Now if there's a 88-95 22 angler without engine, etc, that may be another story.

Clearly I purchased my boat 6 months too early :| As stated by others this is an incredible deal, and I too would drive across the country for it!

I DO NOT HAVE A TRAILER. I LIVE ON THE WATER AND KEEP THE BOAT ON MY LIFT. MY NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR HAS A TRAILER THAT I USE WHEN I NEED TO PULL THE BOAT OUT. I DOUBT THAT WILL HELP AS I SEE YOU ARE FROM MONTANA. AT MY PRICE, YOU CAN GO BY A BRAND NEW ONE AND STILL COME OUT A WINNER. LET ME KNOW. SAM
 
Sam I am dreaming but wondering if I could get a small group to go in so we would have a boat in Fla and not have to drag one 3000 miles and back with the gas prices the way they are. We'd need a trailer and a place to store it. I;ll check with my friends see if they are game. michael

AT THE PRICE I AM ASKING FOR THE BOAT I WOULD NOT BE WILLING TO INCLUDE A TRAILER. A TRAILER FOR THE BOAT CAN EASILY BE FOUND FOR $1,500 USED AND $3,000 NEW. I AM NOT SURE WHERE YOU WOULD WANT TO STORE THE BOAT, BUT IN MY AREA PROTECTED BOAT STORAGE COSTS BETWEEN $1.50-$2.00 PER FOOT. LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED MORE INFO. SAM
