    Is 75 enough

If I found a nice 22 with a 75 I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. I had twin 35's on mine and it did 25 loaded. Worked fine offshore. More power would have been nice at times but the boat did well.

22 Cruiser, How To Get The Bilge Water Out?

I'm confused. There is no space under the cockpit, just core. Shouldn't be any gaps.

    Dickinson Lofoten Heater/Cooktop

Had the 1300 in my 22 for several years and never had a problem. Quick, dry heat and lots of it. Sat under the counter forward of the sink. Easy install. I now have one on a 16' arima sea explorer with the same results. Put the remote switch in the cuddy so I don't have to get out of bed to...

    Dickinson Lofoten Heater/Cooktop

Was thinking it was a bit much as well. Even on low it will heat a 22 up to an uncomfortable level. I couldn't run my wallas 1300 all day no matter what the weather. After a couple hours it was either open the door or crack the hatch and windows.

Got My CPAP - First Experiences

I don't use the heat and don't fill the reservoir so cleaning is just rinse the hose and mask and good to go. One thing I really like about the machine and not running heat and moisture is if I go to bed stuffed up a few hard breaths and everything is pretty much dried out. When I started with...

    Your choice of boat?

Did a test run with the tug. Liked it a lot but for most fishermen it isn't too practical. Went with the 22. If you have any weather come in only one person can really be comfortable in the tug.

What's Killing the Coho in Puget Sound?

Stormwater management? Sounds good but when it goes unbridled as King Countys' has it will suffocate you with the burden. Their manual is already being adopted by adjacent states and lesser governments.

If your trailer is set up well it shouldn't make much difference.

    Trailer jack recommendation?

I have one of those valets on my trailer and it works real well and is well built. But be warned, it requires a little akward bending down a bit to turn the crank if you are tall.

Pacific Northwest Weather - first hand experience

Willamette Valley is pretty ideal. An hour or so to the coast, an hour or so to the desert. Winters are usually mild. Only have a few days of really warm weather. It does rain a bit, but it is real rain, not the drizzle of nw washington. In washington they say september 1 to july 4 is...

    Cruising into the open ocean

Had twin 35's on a 22' c dory and they were perfect for me. Cheap to maintain, enough power (but just barely) and I could fish all day in the ocean on ten gallons of fuel. Not once did I have that thought in the back of my mind about what will I do if that single engine quits out here at 4 in...

    Throwraft has anybody tried one?

If you end up in the water you better have ahold of that. Once inflated it will sail across the water with the slightest breeze.
