Window privacy curtains

Want to find an inexpensive-but nice looking way-to cover my windows on my infrequent overnight trips-any ideas appreciated.

Many of us use Sunbrella in a color that matches our interior/exterior trim. You could make your own with any cloth (opaque is best) and snaps...

A quick second on Jim's post. Screw in snap fastners on the window frames are quick and easy. Sunbrella is nice, but you could use any cloth you like. Cut to shape, a bit of bias (is that the right stuff?) tape around the edges, snaps in to match the ones on the window frames, and you're in business.
 
I use the silver round -ish window sun block devices that open into this roundish piece that goes inside the car windshields to keep the sun out and keep the car cooler. Get them at Walmart etc for about $6 a pair. They fold down to a circle about 10-12" and I can store all six sets on the dash shelf under the port side front window.

It does take a bit to learn the wrist-flip to close them but they are dual purpose (which is what I like on the boat) in that they will keep it cool in the day and private at night.

I attached 1"teak batten above the windows and screwed canvas snaps to it. Then got a rectangular piece of nice hawaii'n fabric and put snap buttons on. A 3/8" dowel sewed in the bottom for weight and a web tie at mid point. The curtain goes up or down in seconds by rolling about itself and stays furled when not needed. Used during the day to shade. At night privacy. Cheap and good. No stowage or fussing. I like that. George.
 
They sit on something on the bottom and behind something on the top, like a shelf with eating utensils, the cabin light, the instrument shelf, the throttle levers, whatever. They are very utilitarian and flexible. I have two differnt sizes, like I use in my truck when I leave it parked. One size fits the front, and one size fits the side. They are not expensive, get a single pair and try them out. If you don't like them in the boat, they will work in the car. I also use(d) them for reflectors in my photography.
