My loose window hatch flew into Lake Washington yesterday. Was looking online tonight at Diamond Seaglaze site, and notice they have a still picture of two C-Dorys at a show. http://www.diamondseaglaze.com/section.asp?catid=2841

Is that a windshield wiper I see on the center window of "SeaWolf"?
Yes, I added it myself, but it's not electric, there's no convenient space or room for the motor above or below the window because of the electronics shelf above and the front dash shelf below. And the reason I didn't loose by center window latch is because I don't have one because my center window doesn't open!
Also, I have to add this after my earlier comment about all the lights.
Other night, I was out walking at the marina (JWM - Sequim) and out over Travis Spit which must be about 2 miles I saw a VERY BRIGHT light. Looked to be the size of a pea and mercury vapor colored. And I could tell it was moving towards the Bay opening. Watched for a while and as it got closer, the size went up from golf ball, to tennis ball, and appeared to cover quite an arc. From a half mile away I could not look directly at the light, and certainly could not see any nav lights, but could see definite headway made. As it moved closer, (1/4 mile) and put me abeam, I could see how far out that light lit up the sea surface, and EVERYTHING in front of the vessel, making 10-12 knots. I could easily read a newspaper in that light level. :idea :idea :hot :hot
Now, I can see the reason for the lights, and the advantage, but heaven help anyone in the vicinity, or making opposing way in a close channel :smiled :smiled
I don't use the lights around other boats, usually, but they sure make it easy to enter coves and find things at night on a lake.
