Which towing service is better?

Boat US or Seatow? I was fortunate enough to be towed by the local Coast Guard in New Smyrna which saved me a lot of money but I think it is time to purchase towing insurance.

We have both when we are cruising to give us coverage regardless of location.

In Maryland, both are highly respected, but we have gone with Boat US.

Mike, Interesting case! Yes, makes one's blood boil! But I have seen the "other Company" do the same type of thing. It is rampant in the industry...

My solution is "get a kicker" and good anchors.

Sea tow here has lots of member get togethers on the waterfront area restaurants ,with free appetizers . I feel like it's a great way to meet fellow boaters, and the free food almost makes a good offset to member fee.
Also ask your ins agent if your policy covers towing, mine does :thup

If you normally boat out of New Smyrna, Sea Tow has an operation in Daytona that covers South to the lagoon. Not sure how far North they cover.

Local number to speak to them: 386-767-1508

I'm over in Mt Dora on the Harris chain and I'm using Sea Tow don't really have opinion I've only given them dues for Four years. For you and the St Johns I think they would be a good bet

I like your tagline which reminds me of when Lou Grant says to Mary Tyler Moore.
"Mary...you're born, you die, the rest is just filler".
