What size claw anchor is stock for the 2006 19' Angler?

I got it stuck at Moosehead lake and had to cut it. Need to buy another and need to know the weight of the claw anchor. It's either 15 or 21 lbs??
Also is there another type of anchor that will fit in the 2006 19" Angler anchor base in the very front of the boat? Thanks for your help.

15 lbs should be plenty for the 19. I prefer the Delta--and if you are anchoring in rocks or debris (cables, trees etc), consider using a trip line attached to the crown of the anchor.

Also if you have an anchor stuck. Take a 6 foot loop of chain with line longer than the anchor rode, and slide it down the anchor rode, under the chain and shank of the anchor--then pull from the opposite direction that the anchor was set form. A very high percentage of the time this trick will release the stuck anchor, and pull it out "backward". It takes some "Juggling" to do this but I have done it with 75 lb anchors.

You might consider the Rocna or similar. They are pricey but will solve problem of claw anchor laying on side and dragging on smooth bottom. The hoops roll the anchor onto its point so it sets quickly and surely. IIRC they make a fisherman model that has a slide for ease of extraction (although you would want to connect it without the slide for anchoring overnight).
