v-berth sleeping - which way

I was wondering which way people sleep in their CD22 v-berth. it seems as if the forward end is slightly higher, but it is a bit claustophobic in there.
I have tried both ways and am trying to decide which is best... I am leaning towards having my head aft...
 
We always sleep with our feet forward and our heads aft. Much more comfortable.
 
We sleep heads forward, not only is it a slightly head higher but also a lot easier to shimmy in and out of berth for middle of the night nature calls
 
Head aft, I always want feet forward in a boat, leftover from sailing days I think,
Toesy, woesy room is snug for three but good for two!!!😍

Heads aft of course. It does seem that the bow end is higher but once you get a couple of adults up there the space levels out quite nicely. We sleep Aven up there with us so we really need the shoulder room.

I always slept feet aft when I had my 22. I like looking out in the cabin - it seems more claustrophobic to me to stare at the enclosed bow area. Besides, it's bad feng shui to have your back towards the entry. :wink:
 
We sleep across the front. I filled the notch with plywood and foam-in-a-pillow-case. Before setting the bedding up, I note which way the boat lists and make the head side on the high side. My wife is 5-8 and I'm 5-11 and I'm the one sleeping more forward but it works for us. Midnight pee is more of a hassle though.

I sleep one of two ways:

1) Feet aft, because, like Roger, I like the "view" into the cabin and out the door to the cockpit. It does give less headroom though, and one has to be careful in sitting up (the turn of the deck is hard as concrete!).

2) Athwartships at the after end of the berth, head to port and feet to starboard.

#2 is roomier, but #1 seems nicer for stowing day things in the V-berth (along starboard side).
 
Tried both ways ,seems more comfortable feet towards bow,except for turning around to get out. Lot of pillows to keep from sinking on sides. Adding foam topper this weekend.
 
Always feet forward. I find it easier to get out of the bunk this way. Plus I often read in bed--the head room, fans, and lights on the aft end of the bunk (bulkhead) are very important to us.
 
Feet to the pointy end... I'd rather play footsie than be face to face, if one party snores, and I'm not saying anyone in our boat, RV, or home does that. :wink:

We would spend up to 6 months at a time on the boat and found the V-berth (with a memory foam pad) to be very comfortable.
 
Feet to the pointy end, because it gets crowded if our heads are at the pointy end. We also discovered that in our small cruiser, not a Cdory, heads forward exacerbated rainwater accumulating at the forward end of the cockpit. Even moving everything possible aft in the cockpit did not prevent this. Our scuppers are aft.

Nothing like stepping barefooted into an inch of ice cold rain water to wake you up!
