When I saw the above, I read that you wanted to live the "buffet lifestyle", I assumed it meant breakfast buffet, lunch buffet, dinner buffet, desert buffet.... what a difference one consonant can make.

I thought so too, since they were sitting at a table with a "Diner" sign on the window. I was confused at first too, but now I think it's just one more joke/gag/juxtaposition in the overall strip!

And yes, Joe, it's part of the joke. 8) Although eating at a dessert buffet (not to be confused with a desert buffet, 'cause we need to get these people to the water :twisted: ) while listening to some Buffett music sounds pretty ideal to me! And who knew Warren could sing?

I'm not so sure about this "begging" stuff, but that's the way Dan sees it. Go figure?
