The 4200 is designed especially to be much more removable than 5200, and can be softened with a special solvent or cut with a wire or high tech braided fishing line when needed, to remove.
Silicone will work, too, and like both the above, will have to have the wood blocks taped in place with masking tape until it sets up. It's less likely to harm the paint.
Epoxy works, too, but is a bit of overkill, and will take the interior paint off with it when removed.
