This is a question for any Tomcat owners. Have any of you had any problems with water in the Bow storage compartments? I get sea water in both compartments and the center rib. I have the drains for the anchor locker.

I'm scratching my head over where the water is coming from!!!

Steve our TomCat is a 2020 model so may be set up different than yours. We did have a small leak on the port side storage that was coming from the front railing stanchion thru deck mounting bolts. Our anchor locker is in the center compartment and has a thru hull drain. The port and starboard compartments do not have drains.
I was able to stop the leak by resetting the three thru deck screws with sealant.

My thought would be the center locker. Our 2006 boat had no drain out of the center anchor locker...I had to make one to the port side and then out thru the side of the hull and fill the center locker floor up to a level with glass and resin to allow good draining.

It is possible that water is coming from one of the lockers (most likely center) and down between the interior molding and the hull.

Generally if it is leaking from rub rail, or bow rail mounting, it will go down he inner hull. But with the Tom Cat this may be obscured by the inner liner.

I would put some food dye in water and then place first in the center locker forward, then the side lockers. You could even use different colors. That should show you where to start looking.

I have the same problem and I have it on my list to start looking into. The water in ours is salt water so it's not rain water leaking in. If you find where yours is coming in I'd love to know. The water is on both sides of ours and slightly more in the on the starboard side. It isn't much but enough that you can't store things in there that can't get a little wet I guess

I finally have fixed my water problem in my front storage area. I filled the
External clam shell drain with butyl tape (putty). I have had no water in the storage since. Easy fix.
