Tomcat 225 on Craigslist - new or used?

Newbie here - Found this Tomcat 225 on Craigslist. I thought 225 meant 22.5 feet but evidently it means 225 feet! I sent a down-payment to the seller without actually seeing to boat. Hopefully it is as advertised - I always trust the Craigslist adds. Can you guys advise me on adding a 5hp kicker?





Alright - this was an experiment in adding pics in newly downloaded Firefox.

I am a newbie and just purchased a 2008 22 Cruiser - it was advertised on this site (and his local Craigslist). Sold in about 23 hrs after posting! It was the boat from Traverse City, MI

Been reading thru past posts and looking at pics - lots of good stuff here - I will be posting several questions.

You have to have two kickers. One on each out rigger other wise it will track funny.

Forget the kicker, for that boat you need to install a cloaking device.

Ah, I see the problem: you were looking at the "little one"... the TC225 instead of the TC255. :wink:

Well, you could put a single 5 on that bottom step. Might take some custom modification though, or you could just put it in the galley and use it for stirring the mixed drinks.

I wouldn't know for sure, just a wild guess
