Time to replace the Garmin 4208 gpsmap chartplotter

I'm hoping someone here has already researched this and come up with a good replacement. Electronics isn't my strong suit. The only thought Ive got is minimizing the replacement of cables and fittings to the Garmin GMR18HD radar and the GSD24 sonar I've got.

Thoughts?
 
When I replaced mine the new screen wasn't compatible with old radar. So you need to make sure everything will still work together. You might want to keep the old and add another screen.
 
My GPSMAP 840 works with that radar. I'm not sure about the sonar. However, I'm not even sure if the 840 is still available, and is already old technology... :? Colby
 
Looks like a 7608sxv or 7610sxv or 1042sxv. How big do you want to go and how much money can we spend?
