Have my reservations locked in at Caribie Resort in Orange Beach, AL and just about ready to head down for the races Friday & Sunday. Any other C-Brats going to make this event?

To answer some email questions.....
1- Yes, if you go to my web page and send an email and name it adds you to a list from my site....but, no pushing or shoving, I just answer questions asked and write down who may be gathered in the area for fun. Now if ya ask paticular questions...about the RF-246 boat ....well..yes...I answer them too.
2- Yes, I was a C-Brat with 3 C-dory boats and some call it a sickness....but, if that is a sickness.....then life is good with that sickness....
3- I do not give a rip what kind of boat you have if you are showing up. Grin... :teeth It all to me is much more important that we just get together and laugh and have fun no matter if we drive in, boat in, fly in...or a mix there of.

4.... Hope to see some of yall there!

Slip K104 at Caribe Resort at the Perdido Pass Bridge. Sweet place with view off the balcony of the wet slips/bay area and the pass an out into the Gulf. C ool on the porch watching them lift the boats from trailers with cranes and splashing them. Saw one C-Dory twice in the pass area this afternoon but could not see boat name from out distances. Another great water day and the first races tommorow aboard ALOYSIUS. We are wondering just where Bob and Marie are....and if they are yet back in their home area.

You're gonna race that boat?? :disgust

I'd pay to see that!!

Charlie,
They made it up the bay pretty fast--but not at 150 mph! Interesting that Jeff and Patrick said that it was almost abandoned down there today. Of course Saturday and Sunday will be biggest attendance. But there are also 2 major concerts, as well as several other festivals in the area. I think that both the oil spill and recession are hurting these venues.

Regards,

Bob

WOW....upon returning from Bob's vist the boats were running and several more go fast steroid type boats in our slips...... and we had a great time watching the folks at the Bon Jovi concert last night too. The crowd was for sure there for that event. This morning again most of the compition boats haul out so that end of the marina is empty. Brigner and myself are skipping the Poker Run today in hopes of getting out a bit and taking advantage of good waters and the weekend Red Snapper season. More racing on Sunday and a possible THATAWAY ...."kidnaping" if Bob and Marie want to join us on the balcony for a bit of fresh air, fun and just time together. If the Austins choose not to join us...well, we may watch Sunday from our balcony.....or back out to the water course in ALOYSIUS for more fun.

Off to Red Snapper fishing today.
