Thoughts on the 2010 market and Boat Show season

Roger and David,

The wage is less important than the pride in workmanship... but BEEF is more of an incentive than seafood. At Marc's, I did eat a shrimp just to show him that "yes, I have tried them before, and I STILL don't like 'em." And I grilled them for him. Another skill I bring to the table. 8)

Best wishes,
Jim

Jim , you will definably be the main guy at our new seafood market and boat detailing location on South Padre..........
Marc

It's all in the promotion, Marc. I have already set up the "Bikini Boat Detailing Service"... you get to watch while they soap up, rinse off, wax on, wax off. For a small extra fee, you won't have to see me in a hot pink Speedo... while I bend and stretch with my buffer (try to get that image out of your head). I'll talk with Herb about running the seafood market and bait shop (is there a difference?). He tried to feed me that stuff, too. I may have to get a hat that has a "Real Men don't eat bait" message on it.

I intend to hand out $5 off coupons, redeemable towards the purchase of a new C-Dory (one coupon per customer per boat purchase, not valid with other offers, void where prohibited by law), which should help the 2010 sales figures. Just doing my part 'till the government fills up my bucket for the Boat Owner Bailout.

Best wishes,
Jim

Perhaps we can convince the powers that be to introduce some "Carp" money for our seafood'n bait / bikinis/boats'n detailing venture.Primarily to be used as a "bonus or "fee" to prevent your hot pink speedo display from ever occurring.

Don’t laugh about the bikini wash. One of the strip joins in Jacksonville N.C would have a bikini car wash in the summer for five bucks. Of course a seat in the viewing area, large gym type fold up seating, where $5 and a two drink minimum. hell for a while they were washing cars for free is you got a seat. Best dam idea I ever saw. That place was always full on the weekend. :smiled

We had a drive through coffee bar with "typically" endowed Sin City bikini clad girls dispensing the brew. It folded.

I preferred Starbucks because my wife told me I did 8>))
